Pressure booster sets - single pump
Flow demand controller to switch on the pump at 6 bar and switch off the pump when the flow stops. Economy controller as standard.
24l pressure vessel fitted on top of the pump with pressure switch to operate the pump between two set points.
100l pressure vessel fitted under the pump with pressure switch to operate the pump between two set points.

Pressure booster sets - fixed speed with multiple pumps
Where demand is higher or variable, a dual pump system is used and conventionally this has been operated using a pressure set providing on/off control using pressure switches, with a vessel to provide some storage.
The switching pressures are set so that if one pump fails to meet demand the second pump will start and they can be used us duty/standy, where only one pump operates at any one time alternating to even wear, or duty/assist where two pumps are used if demand is high.
Larger units with more than two pumps can be assembled to meet demand.
We offer these systems with a variety of pumps.

Features of a variable speed dual booster set:
- Automatic pump change over in duty/assisty mode
- Indication of operating and fault conditions on liquid crystal display
- Easy pressure adjustment
- Maximum pump run time to prevent pump damage if there is a fault
- Low pressure alarm
- Low supply tank level alarm and shut-off
- Low motor operation temperature
- Audible, visual or optional text alert
- Continuous audible alarm followed by adjustable intermittent bursts
- Alarm reset same time of day
- Dual or triple pump set-up
Considerable savings can be achieved if variable speed dual and larger units are used when the demand on the system is variable, eg in a holiday or residential complex.
The pressure transducer will measure the system pressure and increase the operating speed of the pump to meet demand. When the first pump reaches maximum speed the second will start and build up speed as required to maintain the pressure.
